The clock is ticking: in just two days, on Saturday 16 July, ten high quality Holsteiner foals will put to auction against the background of the traditional Falsterbo Horse Show. Other than initially thought, the auction will be held in a hybrid format after all. The presentation as well as the auction itself will be live streamed via the media portal, www.equisport.tv. Bids can be placed as usual, on www.holsteiner.auction supported by ClipMyHorse.TV.
“We are looking forward to this event very much indeed and are very pleased that it is going to be a hybrid auction after all“, says head of marketing Roland Metz in the run-up.
Ten foals boasting top-notch bloodlines have made it into the hand-picked collection. Other than the top Holsteiner sires, Casall and Clarimo, the very young stallions Cahil and Charaktervoll send offspring, as well. But there is more, with the much sought-after sires
Chacoon Blue, Diamant de Semilly, Dominator Z, Cornet Obolensky, same as Le Blue Diamant van’t Ruytershof and Emerald van’t Ruytershof also represented. There is for example lot no 3, Copenhagen by Casall-Cancara from mare family 162. This typey filly’s second dam is also dam to Classic Touch DH, a mare which used to be successfully shown in jumping classes to 1.60m by Thibeaut Spits (BEL). Or else Diamond Fire SN by Diamant de Semilly-Clarimo, lot no 9: his direct dam line has also produced Spender S, a jumping horse shown at international level by Jos Lansink and Maria Gretzer, respectively.
The ten lots offered for sale will be first publicly presented live on Saturday, 16 July, at 3.00pm right before the important Falsterbo Derby with the auction kicking off at 5:00pm in the dressage arena. All other information, pedigrees and videos are available online on www.holsteiner.auction.
