Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Flash Gordon 37 Win CDIO5* FEI Dressage Grand Prix Special presented by Novare

The final day of Falsterbo Horse Show began with dressage at the highest international level as the CDIO5* FEI Dressage Grand Prix Special presented by Novare took centre stage on the Dressage Arena.

Fresh from leading Denmark to victory in Saturday’s FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ Grand PrixDaniel Bachmann Andersen and Flash Gordon 37 continued their outstanding form by claiming victory in Sunday’s Grand Prix Special with a winning score of 75.638%.

The Danish combination impressed once again with a confident and harmonious test, adding an individual victory to the team success they celebrated just 24 hours earlier.

“It is absolutely fantastic to be here in Falsterbo, and the audience is simply amazing,” commented Bachmann Andersen after a successful week at Falsterbo Horse Show.

The home crowd had plenty to cheer for as Sweden claimed the remaining podium places. Patrik Kittel and Touchdown finished second on 73.298%, while teammate Therese Nilshagen and Navarro secured third place with 73.043%.

The class rounded off a memorable week of international dressage in Falsterbo, where the return of five-star competition once again attracted many of the world’s leading riders and combinations to the iconic Dressage Arena.
