Super League in dressage?
The dressage board of Falsterbo Horse Show is on their way for a fast visit before Christmas to discuss the possibilities of a Super League in dressage with the organizers of Aachen and Rotterdam.
A Super League in dressage will not only give a great experience for the audience but also a chance for the national teams to improve and grow stronger and also a great chance for a comparison between the nations. If this will become reality, Falsterbo will become a host for one of the seven competitions.
The other organizers will be:
- Aachen-Germany
- Rotterdam-The Netherlands
- Hickstead-United Kingdom
- Mondorf-Luxemburg
- Saumur-France
- Kiev-Ukraine
A Facelift For The International Dressage Arena
The international dressage arena is now under reconstruction. The arena will now become even bigger to make it possible for multiple uses. It is already planned for the first round of Scandinavian Open for five and six year old show jumping horses to be located there instead on the international show jumping arena. The relocation is made mostly to save the grass and the ground on the big international show jumping arena, since it will be used harder with the Super League coming to Falsterbo, than before.
Show director Jana Wannius thinks it will also be a very positive experience for the horses.
— På internationella dressyrarenan är det ett par tretusen åskådare, flaggor och skyltar. Det kommer att bli en väldigt possitiv sak för hästarna att hoppa första kvalet där!
